These data gets collected and whenever the live update is run we get these data at our symantec server.  There is a setting called "Norton Community Watch" in our product, when I'm reassured by the fact that sfc did find something and repair it. What is this, and what information should I put in for anyone to figure out the severity of the situation?  Thanks!

It usually takes a restart and a period of Idle time for the Error entries to be submitted. There are some weird properties of it that suggest that the operating system might be damaged. It is not a security issue and you remain fully protected. Besides, those reports are going out at random times, I work often via 3G connections and don't like the fact that Norton reports are using my bandwidth. Regards. Solved. The earliest 'NCW' is due to a very busy system. What is this, and what information should I put in for anyone to figure out the severity of the situation?  Thanks! http://zeronews.net/norton-error/norton-error-5013.html This error occurs because, during startup, the firewall determined that it was disabled by the operating system.

Regarding the SCANLESS errors, I found the file name entry that is causing the errors in the 'Application Ratings' feature under 'Highest Performance Impact':   The 'nsr2_patch_all.exe' file (update to Norton It appears that NIS has extended it's Tamper Protection features to protect components of Save and Restore as well. While documenting the SCANLESS issue I just noticed that your system has made six more submissions and they're all for this issue. I Googled for quite a bit after a solution to stop those reports but I have not found anything.  Hence my first question - does anyone know how to stop those

I subsequently re-scanned the email in question and the Virus Scanner immediately quarantined a Trojan Horse found in the email in question. You might want to run "sfc /scannow" to make sure that your operating system is alright. I don't know where those pending reports are stored nor how to purge them except with a shotgun Uninstall NOT Keep any setting. To be simple, kind of compatibility issues.  These issues will be resolved and could be passed to the product again during the next LU or once we do a workaround on

This triggers the 'hsui' error. As the error is not written to the Symantec Error Reporting log in real time, take note of the time that you performed the action above.
