I know this is a different issue but wanted to throw this problem on the table in case of a UVERSE link.. Outlook sees the message getting blocked and reports back to you that your message cannot be sent due to a virus or spam. The ONLY one that gets immediately rejected is the Godaddy account. U.S. Just thought I would post my solution because I hate it when you search for a solution but find the thread finishes without a answer. I use godaddy to host my email accounts.

  • The half that use the secureserver webmail have NOT had this problem at all in these 4 weeks.
  • It was an excel file, with a very long file name, with numbers, a special character (a hyphen), and upper and lowercase letters with words separated by spaces.

If it wasn't intermittent it wouldn't be so hard to figure out. We have been working on this for days and still the same questions come up. If you were infected you would probably not be getting bounceback messages precisely for the same reason - messages sent from your machine would have a spoofed "From" address so that What you are getting here is, during the transmission of the message, their server is responding with a 552 status instead of 250. If you are blaming the e-mail scanner, this should not be case since most antivirus software programs that provide e-mail protection have been improved upon. Another thread what had a symptom of Spamming. Solved! but since it seems to be so instantaneous when the return msg appears, I'm having a hard time seeing it get past the 'local' machine to a server and then have I have to resort to posting to only this forum because the majority of my posts to the GD forum don't seem to go through... I would contact Godaddy support which has been horrible about it.

If you are sure it is GoDaddy servers, fine , tell us exactly what the problem is, not the symptom. Two separate problems don't make a "bigger problem". Here are some details that may help..
