Just got home yesterday and i tried tip #7 today. I tried the blow-dryer again today and that didn't work, so I tried banging my camera on the carpet, and OMG, it worked. None of which worked. Sometimes when I turn on the camera the legend "Lens error: 120,1,0,0" appears. Very cool! The thing that worked for me is #7;; Forcing the lens in.

It was a camera about to go in the bin and is now resurected. I am now going to open the camera lens. Otherwise, I'll likely just give up on it. I have a Canon Powershot SD400 and the lens jammed one day.
