Then I removed them both and waited for about 20 minutes, put them back in place, I had the Err message for a few more seconds then eventually it cleared out well in my case it ticks(or clicks). Now after a couple of months the same error appears and the service center is suggesting that the Shutter unit has to be replaced. Anything going wrong with the communication between lens and camera will cause an "FEE" error (that is a real error, relating to communication), instead of the "R" status displays. The problem does not appear to occur in the P mode. Patton March 19, 2014 at 9:27 pmI tried this with my lens off and it stopped automatically after about 50 shots. It is quite often down to dirty contacts on either the lens mount or lens itself, and is fixed with a good deep clean.

I diddnt and herd the click and AF worked instantly. F0 Not so much an error code, but if you see F0 on your display it means the lens hasn't been twisted all the way and locked in place. One thing that often happened to me with the D90 is my left hand would accidentally flip the focus mode switch to manual. Check This Out It must be in Memory card not in camera.
